Basic steps to convert XML to Map class
I have a very simple class and repository i'm resolving with Castle in
a Test class (NUnit) I have the fluent map (PersonMap) and I may be a
little lazy here by asking, but is there a place in the quick start or
other documentation that outlines what is necessary to swap out the
existing XML map for the fluent class?
In this case and until i understand fluent a little better i'll not be
using automapping.
Any thing i need to post please let me know.
Appreciated

Could you clarify what you're asking?
Do you want to know how to convert your XML mappings into ClassMap's? Or are you looking for help with getting NHibernate to recognise your ClassMap's?

I'll repost what I put on the email thread for posterities sake then:
Outdated, but here you go: http://code.google.com/p/nhibernate-hbm-to-fluent-converter/

this is where a picture is worth a ... i have the map class it's about as
simple as it gets.
I'm just looking for where i can or should make changes to stop using the
hbm.xml and use the fluent class. I do have a posting with the screen shots
on the new site.
You are absolutely right about the vague part BTW. The question could have
been more specific.

There's a section towards the end of the getting started guide that covers configuring NHibernate with your fluent mappings; specifically: getting started, configuration and the fluent configuration API.
